Series Synopsis -
Kicked off on our Winter Retreat at Camp Fitch, we jump into our teaching series on Identity. This week, we invite parents to join there students at 90@9 as we unfold the concept of where each of us finds our identity. This series will cover areas including:
- Academic and Athletic Achievement
- Money and Possessions
- Pleasure, Gratification and Comfort
- Relationships and Approval
- Religion and Morality
A few items to be aware of as we begin:
- Each week we’ll be looking at one or more areas of these areas, why they’re attractive, how they play out in our lives, and what God’s Word says about them.
- This will be the first series that our high school and junior high students will have separate teaching. The 90@9 ministry has been blessed with numerous leaders who are willing and able to teach the word. Dividing the groups for the teaching time will allow for more of the leaders to be involved in the teaching, and that teaching to be at an age-appropriate level.
- We’ll actually be taking a break from this series for the entire month of April, as the first Sunday in April is a Family Sunday (no 90@9), and the other three Sundays in April are the Missions Festival. During this time Michael Huffman will be coordinating teaching related to Missions.

The Life of Peter (February 7th – February 28th)
Series Synopsis -
During the month of February we will examine four lessons on the life of Simon Peter. We will review the story of when he walked on the water, Simon Peter’s proclamation of Jesus as the Christ, his tragic denial of Jesus after his trial, and finally his reconciliation. We can find encouragement as fellow believers in Christ as we see how Jesus was able to use a man as common and imperfect as Peter to help establish his church.
